Sharing before and after photos of himself, he wrote: 'Feb/March 2017 I remember heading into the gym for the first time at 142kg with my depression crippling me and my anxiety stopping me from going to the weight section. There was chaos at Dunnamis Church in Abuja as traders who conduct business around the church's surroundings arrived early in the morning to find their wares have been burnt. According to the protesting traders, they were warned a day before that their goods would be burnt if they did not move. "They told us yesterday say them go burn am," one trader said. "This is wickedness in the highest order," another said. As they revolted, security forces stood around and tried to prevent them from getting into the church to register their displeasure.

A bride-to-be was shocked to find a secret message from her late mum written on the soles of her wedding shoes. Emma, 38, who is due to get married in August this year, received her wedding shoes last week and became emotional when she saw her mum's message written on the sole. Emma's mother was diagnosed with cancer one month after Emma got engaged to Richard. She died in 2017. Her mother had been given one to two years to live after being diagnosed with lung cancer, Emma said. She had written letters to some members of the family, but "ran out of time" before she could write one to her daughter. Emma said planning her wedding without her mother was hard. But, to her surprise, a gift came in the post from her mother. Emma told the BBC: "It’s been so hard planning a wedding without having her with me, and I have had lots of tears." Many people were killed after a trailer rammed into a crowd along Upper Iweka road in Onitsha, Anambra state yesterday March 13th. According to reports, the tanker suffered a brake failure, lost control and killed people from Toronto hospital to NITEL junction at upper iweka. The victims have been deposited at the Toronto hospital morgue.

An Igbo businessman narrowly escaped death after being attacked by thugs in Taraba. Rotn Akanwoke Gideon, aka Arkgee, the CEO of Arkgee Computers in Yola was attacked along Wukari Road in Taraba state. Arkgee's car was destroyed during the attack. He was also injured, so much so that he was bleeding badly and his white singlet turned red. Sharing the story, Emmanuel Goji Hammana blamed the "Yan Chirani" in Taraba state for the attack. He wrote: "Thank God for sparing the life of  Rotn Akanwoke Gideon  (Arkgee), the CEO of Arkgee Computers Yola. He was attacked along Wukari Road by thugs. There was an uproar in Awka, Anambra state after a Reverend led a grieving family to the location where their kidnapped son was abandoned. The pastor, while reportedly under God's direction, was given the location of a kidnapped boy and this led to him being rescued. The boy was abducted, tied in a bag and dumped in a bush in Awka. The boy's father, desperate to find his child, met the Reverend who then prayed and received a revelation of the missing boy's location, according to members of the community where the incident took place. The pastor led the boy's family to the location and, to their shock, the child was found there alive. Residents of the community jubilated after the child was found as can be seen in a video going viral online. But web users weren't so impressed and some suggested the pastor might have had a hand in the child's disappearance, just so he can stage a miracle.

Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, says the school that collapsed in the Ilafaji area of the state yesterday March 13th, was operating illegally. While visiting the scene of the incident, the governor said the school and shops in the three-storey building, were not authorized and were operating "illegally" in the building, which is meant solely for residential purposes. The governor added that many of the structures in the area would be demolished as they are not structurally fit. "The building is not technically a school, it is a residential building that was actually accommodating an illegal school, so to speak, on the second floor," he said.

A 14 year old girl whose father had the habit of inserting his fingers in her vagina to check if she is still a virgin at their home in Enugu state, has been rescued and reunited with her mother. Activist, Gwamnishu Emefiena Harrison , who shared the story online, said the young girl ran to his NGO, to confide in officials about what she had been going through. She was taken away from her father's house and handed over to her mum. The father has since gone underground and as since refused to honor all police invitations.
