Guaranteed Way To Never Go Broke

Have you ever heard of anyone going broke by giving?
It is kind of a odd thought to ponder, its even stranger to try to practice it. Whether you are running brick and mortar business, an MLM distributorship, or an online business there is one factor that will choke out the life and squeeze a business’s ability to breathe success. While the everyday mantra of most is, “whats in it for me,” or “look out for me, #1”
I want to propose a counterintuitive method of operation. This way of doing business is something I’ve been practicing for many years and is something I encourage you to adopt as well.
Lets say you are at a party, which are you more likely to do, shake a man’s hand or pay $5 to shake that same man’s hand? Kind of a silly question but more often than not this is exactly what we do online and its costing you customers, clients, sales, and sabotaging new business relationships.
Imagine seeing a beautiful woman/handsome man and the first words out of your mouth when you meet them are, “Hi nice to meet you, will your marry me?” Not only is that kinda creepy its also a sure fire way to have someone NOT want to do business with you.
In our businesses we do this kind of creepy marketing all too often. Instead of building any kind of trust or relationship first by giving away something of value (hint hint) we go for sale right away.
I don’t know about you but I’d rather do business with someone I know, like, and trust.
So I want to offer this counterintuitive way of doing business today which is this: give away something of VALUE before expecting to receive value.
Once you have given things away to your potential clients, leads, customers and they have started to trust you and see that you are a person of value… then it makes more sense to offer things for sale.
Think of everyone time you give something away as making a deposit in a relationship bank so to speak. You are constantly building the relationship bank account by making regular deposits and this account is growing larger and larger.  Then one day you would like to make a withdrawal except when you make a withdrawal you take it out in the form of money. Now you can’t make any kind of withdrawals unless there is something already in the account and its the same way with our online business.
So today, focus on giving away some of your best stuff. Give away your best solutions, tips, advice, products, and don’t be in a lack mentality.
