Rita Ora Signs to Atlantic Records
It’s official. Rita Ora has found a new home at Atlantic Records.
The British singer, who was previously signed to Roc Nation, has inked a worldwide recording contract with the label and plans to release new material later this year.
“Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released,” said Ora in a statement. “I’m thankful to my new Atlantic Records family for all their support and encouragement. The next chapter is going to be incredible.”

“Rita is a rare talent and a true global star,” he said. “First and foremost she’s a great singer who’s hugely passionate about music and I’m delighted to welcome her to Atlantic Records. We look forward to getting in the studio with her and making an incredible album.”
The 25-year-old singer sued for release from Roc Nation last year, claiming she was “orphaned” by Jay Z’s label, who released her 2012 debut Ora internationally. Roc Nation filed a countersuit earlier this year before both parties came to an agreement.
This follows a Billboard report that Rita signed a deal with Atlantic’s parent company, Warner Music.
