Taylor Swift Was Aware Of Kanye West’s “Famous” Song – Kim

While Kim Kardashian has hugged the headlines again in respect to her first appearance on the front cover of GQ Magazine, the mother of two also levelled accusation of hypocrisy against singer, Taylor Swift in the publication. The reality TV star alleges that Swift was well aware of Kanye West‘s ‘Famous‘ song off his seventh studio album, Life Of Pablo on which he rapped: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous’ in reference to Swift. Following the release of the song, Swift had hit out at Kanye’s camp, taking to social media to condemn the lyrics and also during her acceptance speech at the 2016 Grammy Awards where she said women should never let someone else ‘undercut’ their success.

‘She totally knew that ‘Famous’ was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,’ Kim told GQ of Swift’s reaction to the song. ‘I swear, my husband gets so much s–t for things when he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved,’ Kim further said. ‘What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?’ Kim insisted that Swift gave Kanye the go-ahead to use the line and claims there is video evidence of it. ‘Rick Rubin was there. So many respected people in the music business heard that conversation and knew.’ ‘I don’t know why she just, you know, flipped all of a sudden…It was funny because [on the call] she said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, ‘The joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time,’ Kim continued.
The 35-year-old reality star said Swift played the ‘victim’ with her subsequent reactions to the song. ‘I’m like, wait, but in your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again,’ she said. Kimmy further revealed herself and her husband haven’t spoken to Swift since the Grammy speech but slyly claimed the singer requested that the video evidence of her approval be destroyed. ‘Maybe an attorney’s letter she sent saying, ‘Don’t ever let that footage come out of me saying that. Destroy it,’ Kim alleged.
